Ian went to stay with his grandmother until God brought Ian to the great Jack Leonard – who ran the PAL boxing club in Winter Haven, FL.
Leonard had been in witness protection for decades outside the country after taking a stand against gambling rackets in boxing. He had come back to the states when he’d had enough of witness protection life. And that’s when young Ian came along.
Through Jack Leonard and boxing training, Ian gained a father, a life, and a career. That is, before the next crushing blow which took Ian’s boxing career.
One More Round takes us through Ian’s early start with tragedy and into his adoption by Jack Leonard who trained him in his champion boxing career.
Included are photos and news stories from Ian’s boxing matches which show his rising career towards being the next world champion boxer.
Unfortunately, life had different plans and Ian was caught up in a chaos of injustice.
This book is a short read that is thoroughly inspiring and motivating. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Ian’s success.
Now, through his life story, Ian is on a mission to be a positive influence on his friends, his family, community, and the world.
