Raelflyn is a centaur who has grown up in the Wild Wood and has had little interaction with the rest of the world and its creatures. He was taught to avoid all the other beings because centaurs just simply don’t engage in the goings on outside their domain.
One day he’s out hunting ogres and he comes across a much worse creature, a troll. The troll is being hunted by a fairy, another unknown creature to the centaur. Raelflyn ends up saving the fairy’s life, who also happens to be a prince.
Upon seeing the light from the fairies, Raelflyn begins to question his life, his past, and his world. He helps the prince arrive safely to his kingdom, where he learns about the history of the world, and most importantly the light.
Raelflyn the Red is an allegorical YA fiction novella and part of the upcoming series, Tales from Asunder.
